Protocolos para el manejo de urgencias odontológicas en tiempos de COVID-19

Objetivo: Analizar los protocolos para el manejo de urgencias odontológicas en tiempos de COVID-19. Método: Descriptivo documental con revisión de 15 articulos científicos ubicados en base de datos PubMed, Scopus, WOS. Conclusión: El estado de confinamiento establecido en varios países ha restringido la atención rutinaria de los odontólogos y se ha establecido únicamente la atención de urgencias odontológicas, para ello es importante hacer una evaluación del paciente para considerar una verdadera urgencia, esto se realiza mediante llamadas telefónicas, video llamadas, fotografías, con esto se podrá establecer una cita para ejecutar el tratamiento siguiendo estrictamente los protocolos de bioseguridad.
