Perfil epidemiológico de malformaciones congénitas en servicio de neonatología

Objetivo: Analizar el perfil epidemiológico de malformaciones congénitas en servicio de neonatología. Método: Revisión de historias clínicas en el servicio de Neonatología del hospital general Ambato – Ecuador. Conclusión: Se realizó un análisis con las edades maternas de los recién nacidos estudiados con malformaciones congénitas teniendo una prevalencia mayor en edades entre 20 a 34 años con una afectación de 14 madres correspondiente al 77.77% y tan solo se vieron afectadas 4 madres con edad mayor a 35 años dando un 22.22%, datos que se asemejan con otro estudio de investigación.
