Teamwork as a learning strategy in the social sciences

This article presents the systematization of a study aimed at evaluating teamwork as a learning strategy in the social sciences. The methodology used was a quantitative approach with a descriptive design. The sample consisted of 40 high school students from different schools. The technique used was the survey and the questionnaire was used as an instrument. Among the results, it was observed that all the skills evaluated (critical thinking, collaborative work, communication and problem solving) obtained a high score, with averages above 4, which indicated a positive perception of the participants on the impact of teamwork on the development of these skills. Consequently, it was concluded that teamwork constitutes an effective strategy to promote learning in the social sciences.
