Protective measures in cases of domestic violence and their efficiency

The general objective of the research was to legally analyse protective measures in cases of domestic violence and their efficiency. The present research used the quantitative method which produces descriptive data, which originate from data collection. It was supported by a documentary-bibliographic review. Together, the inductive-deductive method was applied. The analytical-synthetic method was also used. It is concluded that the lack of follow-up of the protection measures in cases of domestic violence by the social work area and the National Police after the issuing of the protection measures to the victim of domestic violence by the judge.
