Domestic violence and the violation of the rights of children and adolescents, Babahoyo, Ecuador

The general objective of the research was to legally analyze domestic violence and the violation of the rights of children and adolescents, Babahoyo, Ecuador. The approach taken by the researchers for the development of the research was developed from the quantitative approach, through the inquiry, collection and critical analysis of documents and bibliographic references, based on the methodical, rigorous and deep exploration of various documentary sources consisting of articles, theses, rules and laws among others, describing the findings. It is concluded that domestic violence is a problem of global magnitude with devastating consequences for the victims and society as a whole. It lies in the understanding of its causes and consequences, and the imperative need to implement effective measures to protect the victims, prevent its propagation and build a society free of violence within the family environment
