Abstract

The general objective of the research was to legally analyze public insecurity and the right to comprehensive development of adolescents. The approach taken by the researchers for the development of the method was based on the quantitative approach, through inquiry, collection and critical analysis of documents and bibliographic references, based on the methodical, rigorous and in-depth exploration of various documentary sources consisting of articles, theses, regulations and laws, among others, describing the findings. In the research, the documentary review technique was used.  The inductive-deductive method was also used. It is concluded that citizen insecurity not only affects the health, integrity and tranquility of people, but also has a negative impact on the economy and its development, since it has a negative impact on human capital, investments, employment, tourism and the possibilities of growth.
