Issuance of municipal public policies on gender equality and environmental law

The general objective was to legally analyze the issuance of municipal public policies on gender equality and environmental law. The approach taken by the researchers for the development of the method, was to start from the quantitative approach, through the inquiry, collection and critical documentary analysis and bibliographic reference, based on the methodical, rigorous and deep exploration of various documentary sources consisting of articles, theses, rules and laws among others, describing the findings. Documentary review was used as a research technique. The inductive-deductive method was also used. A questionnaire was applied to 50 inhabitants of the city of Babahoyo. It is concluded that the acceptance of gender diversity has been increasing throughout the world with the exception of some countries. However, there are still pockets of rejection that have caused governments to expand the rights of these populations.
