Negligence in the public medical service and violation of the right to health, Babahoyo, Ecuador

The general objective of the research was to legally analyze the negligence in the public medical service and violation of the right to health, Babahoyo, Ecuador. This study was based on the quantitative approach, through the search, collection and critical analysis of documents, bibliographic references, studies or research projects, from the interpretation of law. In this case, the research technique applied was the documentary review of texts, doctrine and rules related to the topic of study. On the other hand, the survey technique. The population involved was 9000, from the rural parish of Bejucal Island in the Baba canton, a sample of 380 was determined. It is concluded that, it has been evidenced how the lack of adequate medical attention and the violation of the fundamental right to health can have devastating effects on the quality of life and well-being of the inhabitants of this community.
