Indigenous people's right to treatment with ancestral medicine

The general objective of this research was to legally analyze the right of indigenous people to treatments with ancestral medicine. It is developed from the quantitative paradigm, also framed from a documentary-bibliographic design, through inquiry, collection and critical documentary analysis and bibliographic reference, based on the methodical, rigorous and deep exploration of various documentary sources such as scientific research, articles and refereed works, theses, among others. Describing the findings. In addition, the survey technique was applied through a questionnaire of ten closed questions to a non-probabilistic sample of volunteers made up of 50 indigenous people living in Canton Quevedo. It is concluded that, in the health centers of Quevedo there is no presence of ancestral sages who can assist patients of indigenous ethnicities who come for any situation that affects their health and request the use of ancestral medicine.
