Abstract

The general objective of the research was to legally analyze the right to health and access to ancestral medicine of the Waorani ethnic group during the Covid-19 pandemic. It was based on a quantitative, documentary-bibliographic perspective. With the study of the social reality observed, it was possible to infer reflective conclusions by the researchers on the problem posed. A bibliographic design of documentary type, which seeks reflection and critical analysis, and related methods of discernment of the phenomenon are built and thus evaluate or consider new contexts. In this sense, laws, norms, reports, agreements, among others, were considered in order to investigate and obtain information. It was concluded that it is evident that in the year 2020 when the COVID nineteen pandemic began, some Constitutional Rights were violated, the right to access to quality health of people living in the Province of Pastaza.
