Rights of children and adolescents from the perspective of sustainable development in Ecuador

The general objective of the research was to legally analyze the rights of children and adolescents under the perspective of sustainable development in Ecuador. The methodology was based on the quantitative approach, in addition to the use of several bibliographic and documentary sources in order to obtain real and relevant information and achieve the objective set in relation to the legal problem under study. In this case, it is intended to apply as a research technique, the documentary review of texts, doctrine and norms in relation to the rights of children and adolescents under the perspective of sustainable development in Ecuador. It is concluded that, throughout the Ecuadorian legal framework, from the Constitution (2008), the Code of Children and Adolescents (2014), to mention a few, the defense of the rights of children and adolescents is enacted and that the same are pursued to achieve with the Sustainable Development Goals.
