Control and environmental preservation in mining exploration and exploitation processes in Ecuador

From the quantitative paradigm, based on the numerical measurement and the statistical analysis and application of the surveys to the members of the Curipamba Project and the community of the Cantón Las Naves, it was possible to obtain the information for the present study, in relation to the problem of the study. Likewise, he relied on documentary-bibliographic research. The general objective was to carry out a legal analysis to identify the application of the 2009 Ecuador Mining Law in the social area of the Curipamba project, Las Naves Canton, Bolívar Province. It was possible to identify through the surveys that the inhabitants of this sector have the control and environmental preservation of those who dedicate themselves to mining in accordance with the provisions of current regulations. Highlighting that mining is not always negative, when it is sustainable and balanced and generates well-being and work in the communities.
