Abstract

The research aimed to analyze gender violence in women from the artisan training center in the city of Tulcán - Ecuador. It was developed from a descriptive methodology, scrutinizing a population of 60 women. A conclusion is reached where the society where no norm, law or restriction could put an end to this type of situation, rather, it is determined that if strategies and psychological services are needed to reduce violence, starting with prevention strategies where women can feel protected and stand out starting with training courses, communication therapies for couples, and greater participation of women in daily life outside of the discrimination of society like men, changing the type of education with which they grow up, waiting with the measures preventive measures, a society can be built where gender equality is found for both men and women.
