Teaching statistics in virtual mode: A systematic review

The article presents the topic "Teaching statistics in the virtual modality", as a result of a literature review that aimed to know the educational practices that work best for teaching statistics in the virtual modality. Thus, articles published in journals indexed in the Scopus and Web of Science databases from the years 2017 to 2023 were explored, which provided recommendations on the best pedagogical practices under the virtual modality from different evidences. The articles reviewed were considered by the inclusion criteria and were analyzed using a bibliometric approach supported by R bibliometrix, which has been used to detect various research trends. The results group the teaching methods that are most effective in the virtual modality for teaching Statistics.
