Resumen

La integración de la inteligencia artificial en la formación y práctica profesional de enfermería es un desafío. El objetivo es describir la actitud de los estudiantes de enfermería de la Universidad Central de Venezuela hacia la inteligencia artificial y las implicaciones para su futura integración en la profesión. Se desarrolla una investigación cuantitativa y de campo en estudiantes de últimos semestres mediante un cuestionario. Los resultados muestran la disposición hacia la utilidad de la herramienta en diferentes ámbitos de la enfermería y su incorporación en su formación y futura práctica. Expresan preocupación con respecto a que la inteligencia artificial pueda reemplazar funciones esenciales o el juicio clínico de los enfermeros e inquietudes sobre la privacidad de los datos de pacientes. Se requiere la incorporación curricular de estos temas para abordar las preocupaciones y facilitar una integración efectiva y ética de esta tecnología en la profesión.
