Effective judicial protection for pregnant women

The general objective was to legally analyze the effective judicial protection for pregnant women. The method used in the research was based on the qualitative approach, managing the collection and analysis of a documentary-bibliographic typology, with the purpose of proposing a critical legal analysis of the norm based on the experts in the field. The research technique applied was the interview; the tool or instrument was supported by the structured interview guide applied to 7 Judges of the Civil Unit of Santo Domingo with the purpose of obtaining pertinent information. It is concluded that the Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador guarantees the rights of protection, in this case study focused on pregnant women, childbirth, breastfeeding, maternity or illnesses due to pregnancy, childbirth or postpartum, providing legal security in the labor field.
