Medical malpractice in traffic accident care, Ibarra, Ecuador

The general objective of this research was to legally analyze medical malpractice in the care of traffic accidents in Ibarra, Ecuador. From the quantitative paradigm, documents, legal texts and scientific research were used for this type of study through their collection, selection and analysis. The bibliographic-documentary design was supported by logical and mental processes. The researchers organized a research process where the study population was based primarily on written documents, norms, laws, to investigate the writings in order to study them and build conclusions that favor the generation of new knowledge. It is concluded that medical negligence is that action or omission of the person who, knowing his objective duty of care, acts irresponsibly in the course of emergency care in this case. Thus, the national worldview regarding pre-hospital care in traffic accidents.
