Crime Scene Investigation Techniques for Crime Scenes

In this research, the general objective was to legally analyze the investigation techniques at the crime scene of a crime. The methodology developed was the quantitative approach, through exploration, collection and critical analysis through a documentary typology, supported by the bibliographic design that seeks reflection and analysis, building methods related to the judgment of the phenomenon and thus evaluate or discuss new arguments. In this regard, documentary sources were examined and analyzed at the theoretical level, theses, and refereed works, among others, related to the central aspects of the work. It is concluded that the importance of preserving the crime scene is a relevant factor to achieve a transparent legal process supported by scientific techniques of preservation and conservation of physical evidence, which becomes irrefutable evidence and material to carry out in conjunction with the prosecution, police and forensic medicine.
