Mountain biking and its impact on strengthening sustainable tourism

The purpose of this study is to determine the incidence of mountain biking for the strengthening of sustainable tourism in the Loreto province of Orellana. For this, 89 participants who attended the SINCHI WAMI 2.0 competition were taken. The research methods and techniques used were the bibliographic review, survey, observation and descriptive statistics. The main results on the practice of mountain biking are disclosed through the social, economic and environmental dimensions of sustainable tourism obtained in the competition. It is concluded that the relationship between sustainable tourism and mountain biking is established on the basis of the favorable impact in all three dimensions, through the execution of tourist competitions, crossings and touring.
