This article aimed to analyze how the management of nature tourism enterprises contributes to territorial sustainability in Sinaloa, Mexico. A sequential explanatory mixed-methods approach was employed. Based on a mapping exercise that identified 142 enterprises, a sample of 97 cases was selected across three regions, the Sierra (mountainous area), the Coastal-Marshlands, and the Transitional Agricultural Valleys, and a Territorial Sustainability Contribution Index (ICST) was constructed, integrating economic, social, environmental, and management dimensions. The results reveal significant regional differences: the Sierra shows the highest contribution (ICST = 0.64); the agricultural valleys occupy an intermediate position (0.58); while the coastal region (0.55) stands out in the social dimension but faces fragmented governance. Management correlates positively with sustainability, although this effect is mediated by contextual factors such as the enterprise's age and social capital. The study concludes that public policies must be differentiated according to the specific territory.
