Process automation and its impact on e-commerce growth

Abstract

This article was written with the aim of analyzing the impact of automation on the efficiency and growth of e-commerce. The research uses a mixed methodology with a descriptive approach and proportional stratified sampling, through surveys conducted with customers in the sector analyzed. The results show a highly positive perception of automation, which increases operational efficiency, competitiveness, and consumer satisfaction. The automation of processes, payments, and shipments optimizes resources, improves performance, and strengthens loyalty. The strategic integration of automation in e-commerce is consolidating itself as an essential pillar for sustainable development, business innovation, and the strengthening of the technology sector within the Ecuadorian digital economy. In conclusion, the results show that automation not only optimizes business performance but also improves the consumer experience, generating greater loyalty.
