Abstract

The objective of the study was to analyze the attitude of medical personnel toward artificial intelligence and its application in clinical practice. The study was non-experimental in design, as the variables were not manipulated. The results show a high level of conceptual understanding and ethical sensitivity, as well as a willingness to use AI under supervision. Associations were identified between interpretive ability and confidence (χ² = 17.62; p = .040; V = 0.54), and between alertness to inequalities and fear for the doctor-patient relationship (χ² = 11.52; p = .021; V = 0.54). It is concluded that it is essential to implement clear governance that includes specific policies on the use of AI to ensure ethical and effective integration into the clinical environment. Medical staff show a broad and favorable disposition toward the integration of artificial intelligence systems into clinical practice.
