Abstract

Inclusive marketing has become essential for brands seeking to connect with diverse audiences and promote equity in their digital strategies. The objective is to apply inclusive marketing in supermarkets in Cuenca, adopting a descriptive methodology. The results reveal a positive correlation between perceptions of the importance of inclusive marketing and personal ratings of inclusivity in supermarkets. The majority of respondents noted the implementation of inclusive strategies and consider a diversity and inclusion policy to be important in supermarkets. However, many perceive current efforts to be insufficient. Although the majority have not experienced discrimination, a significant percentage have. It is concluded that these findings highlight the need to improve inclusion in supermarkets to meet the needs of a diverse customer base and promote an inclusive environment free from discrimination.
