Promotion of the marinera norteña and its impact on cultural identity: A systematic review

The general objective of the research was to analyze the promotion of the marinera norteña and its impact on cultural identity: a systematic review. This research was based on a descriptive, quantitative paradigm and was complemented with a documentary-bibliographic design. The collection of information extracted from the refereed articles was carried out using the analytical method. Explored in the analysis of written content, through the analytical-synthetic method. In addition, it was developed through a systematic review of the literature, following the guidelines of the PRISMA method. It is concluded that the promotion of the marinera norteña has been fundamental to understand how an artistic and traditional element can influence and strengthen the identity of a nation. This study demonstrates that the marinera norteña, more than just a dance, is a means of cultural expression that celebrates and reflects the history, traditions and values of Peru.
