Conceptual approach to linkage and university service at the Autonomous University of Chapingo, Mexico

The general objective of the research was to analyze the conceptual approach to linkage and university service at the Autonomous University of Chapingo, Mexico. The study was carried out from a quantitative perspective, through the recovery, compilation and critical analysis of documentary and bibliographic references. In this sense, from a documentary bibliographic design. It was also supported by analytical-synthetic and inductive-deductive methods. It is concluded that, the substantive functions Liaison, Extension and Service, must be defined in terms of institutional identity, within the framework of the reason for the UACh: the Mexican rural environment as well as in the context of its economic, socio-cultural and technological transformations that merit an effective relationship, which enhances the link of the University through intervention strategies through projects that enhance agricultural and rural development.
