Abstract

The current research entitled Flipped classroom: pedagogical model to develop the self-regulated learning competence, is considered very relevant to be used by both teachers and students; therefore, the objective was to determine the relationship between the Flipped classroom and self-regulated learning from a quantitative approach of correlational design. The research approach was cross-sectional correlational and the sample included 242 students from a public educational institution. The results showed that the Rho Spearman correlation coefficient is Rho = 0.827 with significance level less than 1% (p < 0.01). As a conclusion, it was evidenced that the Flipped Classroom is highly significantly and directly related to students' self-regulated learning, making its implementation essential for students.
