The research aims to determine the effectiveness of the plastic arts as a strategy to improve reading comprehension in elementary school students of the Educational Institution 88077-2021. Explanatory type with quasi-experimental design with experimental and control group. A bilateral significance value for the experimental group (G1POSTEST) was obtained at 0.04, a statistical change is evidenced in contrast to the rest of the elements, which indicates that the applied program had an effect on the study population. Therefore, H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. The plastic arts can be used as a motivating strategy for students' reading comprehension, helping to germinate their interest in subjects such as history, and it is important to take this pedagogical action into account to promote it with greater emphasis in schools, especially in times when students Students often feel disinterested in classical reading.Downloads
