Abstract

The general objective of the research is to analyze the relationship between the growth of the gross domestic product (GDP) and investment in research, development and education in human capital of various countries according to the outlook report (June - 2020) for the year 2020 and 2021 from the World Bank. From the multivariate econometric model, a correlational analysis was applied to determine that there is no autocorrelation error in the data.Once this test has been carried out, an ordinary least squares model has been proposed, taking as a dependent variable each of the projections made by the World Bank. As a result, it is proposed that the higher the investment and development spending, as well as in education, the better GDP evolution for 2021. It is concluded that human capital constitutes an extremely valuable element, which contributes to the improvement of the country.
