Abstract

The general objective of the research was to provide a legal analysis of the effectiveness of precautionary measures in corruption cases. The present research used the quantitative method which produces descriptive data, originating from data collection. It was supported by a documentary-bibliographic review. In addition, the inductive-deductive method was used. The analytical-synthetic method was also used. The technique used to collect information was the survey, through the application of a questionnaire to a sample of 12 lawyers, so no statistical formula was used, as the population was very small. It is concluded that, in relation to the legal and regulatory framework, the results reveal that there is a majority perception that the current legal and regulatory framework in relation to precautionary measures in corruption cases is not entirely clear and complete. This suggests the need to review and strengthen the legal framework.
