Abstract

The general objective of the research was to legally analyse grooming as a type of violence, using the quantitative method, which produces descriptive data that originate from data collection. Supported by the documentary-bibliographic review. In addition, the inductive-deductive method was used. The analytical-synthetic method was also used. The technique used to collect information was the survey, through the application of a questionnaire to a sample of 188 people. For the analysis of the results obtained from the application of the surveys, the IBM SPSS Statistics tool was used. It is concluded that grooming constitutes a form of violence nowadays, since it has been identified that stalkers coerce their victims, that is, they exercise psychological or emotional violence, sexual violence, and recently it has been attributed to digital violence due to the emergence of new technologies, in which people can interact with strangers.
