Implementation of on-street parking charges by private companies

The general objective of the research was to legally analyze the implementation of on-street parking charges by private companies. This research used the quantitative method which produces descriptive data, which originates from data collection. Supported by the documentary-bibliographic review. In addition, the inductive-deductive method was used. The analytical-synthetic method was also used. The survey technique was used to gather information on the problem described, through the application of a questionnaire to a sample of 95 people. It is concluded that the Decentralized Autonomous Government of Canton Quevedo should, by means of a normative act or ordinance in use of its taxation powers, create a tax for the provision of parking services in public spaces, as the public road constitutes the public road in the service of people.
