Impact of informal commerce on citizen security

The general objective of the research was to legally analyze the impact of informal commerce on citizen security. This research used the quantitative method, which produces descriptive data, originating from data collection. Supported by the documentary-bibliographic review. In addition, the inductive-deductive method was applied. The analytical-synthetic method was also used. It is concluded that, Informal commerce in the city of Ambato, during the period 2018-2019, was preferably deployed in safe places; or, failing that, informal commercial activity, for the period and geographical location studied, did not negatively impact citizen security. However, the analysis reveals that locations of moderate to low, dispersed, and high traffic commercial activity relative to their immediate surroundings.
