Analysis, prevention and promotion of mental health, Babahoyo, Ecuador

The general objective of the research was to legally analyze the analysis, prevention and promotion of mental health, Babahoyo, Ecuador. The research was developed from the positivist paradigm and from the quantitative perspective, through the search, collection and critical documentary analysis, bibliographic referential, in this sense, from a bibliographic design of documentary type, the study population, was based basically on written documents such as theses and refereed works, laws. The analytical-synthetic part was based on mentally decomposing the system under study. The inductive-deductive method was also used. It is concluded that the combination of the analysis of risk factors, the identification of associated circumstances, the evaluation of available resources and the proposal of prevention and mental health promotion strategies will reduce the incidence of suicide and promote an environment conducive to mental health in this community.
