Abstract

The general objective of the research was to legally analyze urban violence and social coexistence of young people, Babahoyo, Ecuador. The research was developed from the positivist paradigm and from the quantitative perspective, through the search, collection and critical documentary analysis, bibliographic referential, in this sense, from a bibliographic design of documentary type, the study population, was based basically on written documents. The analytical-synthetic aspect is based on mentally decomposing the system studied. The inductive-deductive method was also used. It is concluded that the prevention of youth violence is an important challenge that requires a comprehensive approach that addresses the individual, family, community and social factors that contribute to violence. Many plans can be presented for prevention so that our young people do not become violent towards their parents, friends, and people around them.
