High delinquency rate of adolescents, Babahoyo, Ecuador

The general objective of the research was to legally analyze the high delinquency rate of adolescents in Babahoyo, Ecuador. The approach taken by the researchers for the development of the method was based on the quantitative approach, through inquiry, collection and critical analysis of documents and bibliographic references, based on the methodical, rigorous and in-depth exploration of various documentary sources consisting of articles, theses, regulations and laws, among others, describing the findings. In the research, documentary review was used as a technique. A survey was made to 20 residents of the city of Babahoyo in the Province of Los Rios, who have access to the Internet. It can be concluded that there can be a series of reasons why a minor violates the criminal law and that the contrary causes can go from one extreme to another, since minors are safe, it is also possible to commit economic crimes.
