Intervention proposal for citizen insecurity, Babahoyo, Ecuador

The general objective of the research was to legally analyze the intervention proposal for citizen insecurity, Babahoyo, Ecuador. The approach taken by the researchers for the development of the method was based on the quantitative approach, through inquiry, collection and critical analysis of documents and bibliographic references, based on the methodical, rigorous and in-depth exploration of various documentary sources consisting of articles, theses, regulations and laws, among others. In addition, an online survey was applied to the residents of the barrio lindo sector in which they will give their opinion, the sample obtained consisted of 68 citizens. It is concluded that the Ecuadorian State shows insufficiency to guarantee a fundamental human right which is the right to citizen security. This idea was reached because during the observation guide, it was observed that there are no efficient mechanisms to combat insecurity.
