Analysis of child labor and its impact on children and adolescents in Ecuador

The general objective of the research was to legally analyze child labor and its impact on children and adolescents in Ecuador. The approach taken by the researchers for the development of the method was based on the quantitative approach, through the inquiry, collection and critical documentary analysis and bibliographic reference, based on the methodical, rigorous and deep exploration of various documentary sources consisting of articles, theses, rules and laws among others, describing the findings. Documentary review was used as a research technique. The inductive-deductive method was also used. It is concluded that child labor is a matter of concern and sometimes requires further exploration of its various roots and interrelationships, but its intensity, conditions and impact on the welfare of children and adolescents make it an urgent matter of public management. Child labor reflects political, economic, social and health setbacks.
