Gender-based violence against immigrant women in Ecuador

The general objective of the research was to legally analyze gender violence against immigrant women in Ecuador. The methodology developed was based on the quantitative approach, using the collection and analysis of a documentary-bibliographic typology. The researcher has the benefit of understanding and at the same time covering topics developed by other people, this kind of design facilitates the analysis of phenomena to which we cannot have direct access, in this case, the search for information was oriented to configure a theoretical, conceptual, historical, legal and contextual starting point. In other words, for the purposes of this research work, a documentary review was carried out based on the regulations and doctrine in force. It is concluded that it was evident to detect the flagrant violation of the right of immigrant women to a life free of violence within the Ecuadorian territory, a scourge that threatens human dignity.
