Resumen

El objetivo es examinar la deserción estudiantil en la educación superior durante la era post-pandemia, utilizando una metodología de scoping review de la literatura disponible de 2020 a 2024. El estudio se enfoca en identificar las causas, impactos y estrategias de mitigación de la deserción en un contexto global que ha sido profundamente afectado por la crisis del COVID-19. La novedad radica en su enfoque de nuevas dimensiones como: impacto del aprendizaje en línea, salud mental y desigualdad en el acceso a la tecnología. La investigación se justifica al abordar una problemática para las instituciones de educación superior, proporcionando un análisis que sirve de base para la formulación de políticas educativas más adaptativas y resilientes. Este artículo contribuye de manera significativa a las Ciencias de la Educación al ofrecer una visión integral de la deserción estudiantil y sus implicaciones, lo que enriquece el ámbito educativo.
