Domestic violence in the socio-legal sphere

The general objective of the research was to carry out a legal analysis of domestic violence in the socio-legal sphere. The research method was based on the qualitative approach, using the collection and analysis of a documentary-bibliographic typology. The applied research technique was the interview; the tool or instrument that supported the enquiry was the interview guide. An analytical-reflexive process was generated, contributing to the generation of the extension of the state of the art. It is concluded that violence against women diverts attention from what is really at stake, as it is pointed out that it is not the pain that is at stake, since it really seeks to obtain authority in which the man exercises control over the wife and children, and it was found that women do not dare to reveal what happens in the home.
