The use of notifications by electronic mail in the judicial system and its role in the venezuelan justice administration

Abstract

Diverse may be the needs that drive the institutions of the justice system to modernize
with the use of technological tools to devise an approach with the justiciable through
access to justice and truthful information of the causes that are demanded, facilitate and
make faster and more expeditious the processing of causes and notifications of
procedures, decrease of costs, improve the organization of work, guaranteeing the
effectiveness and productivity in the courts. Justice professionals can save time and work; the State can obtain more information and transparency, offer it more efficiently
and effectively. Although to verify this effectiveness in the use of notifications, a
guarantee mechanism for receipt and immediate response should be carried out to
certify that the executed or sentenced person was notified to exercise his right to access
to justice, and thus guaranteeing his legitimate defense
