The media in the public perception of the administration of justice system, Ecuador

The general objective of the research was to legally analyze the media in the public perception of the administration of justice system, Ecuador. This research used the quantitative method, which produces descriptive data, originating from data collection. It was supported by a documentary-bibliographic review. In addition, the inductive-deductive method was used. The analytical-synthetic method was also used. It is concluded that the way in which the media present information on judicial issues can have a direct impact on how society perceives the effectiveness, impartiality and transparency of the judicial system. Distorted reporting can generate public distrust and scepticism about judicial institutions, while responsible and fair coverage can strengthen public confidence in the justice system.
