Jurisprudential knowledge in first level judges, Ecuador, from a constitutional approach

The general objective of the research was to describe the jurisprudential knowledge of first level judges, Ecuador, from a constitutional approach. The research was developed from the positivist paradigm and from the quantitative perspective. In addition, it was supported by documentary-bibliographic analysis, consisting of refereed articles, theses, laws and norms, for their respective analysis and interpretation. It is concluded that the updating of first level judges in jurisprudential and constitutional knowledge is essential to ensure the correct application of the law and maintain the integrity of the judicial system in Ecuador. Through strategies such as ongoing training, the use of technology and the exchange of experiences, a significant improvement in the quality of judicial decisions can be achieved and society's confidence in the judicial system can be strengthened.
