Abstract

The main objective of this research is to analyze the circumstances and perceptions of the right to resistance in the context of the constitutional State of rights and justice and its impact on the coexistence of citizens; for which an investigation was conducted on the relevant aspects that motivate the use of the right to resistance as a legitimate right of Ecuadorian citizens, particularly those who have been historically marginalized. For this research, the descriptive method was used with bibliographic analysis, concepts, information, texts, and theories related to the topic. With this study it was concluded that the right to resistance, well conceived, allows guaranteeing the full validity of the constitutional State of rights and justice, as indicated in the Constitution, which becomes indispensable to consolidate the democratic regime of the country.
