Politics and Law: A sociology of law perspective

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research work is to make known in an objective manner the relationship between law and politics. Both terms have always gone hand in hand since the law is shaped and structured based on a political conception, remember that Ecuador is a constitutional state of rights and justice, this conception was born as a result of the 2008 constitution which was drafted based on a new political project of that time, that is why it is important to understand why these two terms are so important to understand the sociological reality of law. The research method used was descriptive documentary type with bibliographic design. With the realization of this research we seek to promote the study of law with politics, since understanding the influence of these two terms is vital to understand the power relations in a state.
