Male and silent violence in ecuador

Violence against men in Ecuador mainly involves couples in free union and committed couples, when there is no understanding by the same is when there is violence by their cohabiting partner and the rights of the person are violated, violence not only occurs through physical aggression but also psychological and at all levels such as: intrafamily or domestic, institutional, legislative and judicial. The objective of the following research is to analyze how violence against men in Ecuador exists in high index but this has as a consequence a problem in the development and integrity of the affected causing embarrassment to speak or denounce these cases. The descriptive method was used with documentary analysis of selected bibliography for the development of the topic. It is important to emphasize that society needs to increase its knowledge of violence against men to encourage and support them to report the case.
