Abstract

The general objective of this research was to legally analyze mediation in the metaverse. It was developed through the quantitative methodology which produces descriptive data, originating from data collection. In addition, the inductive-deductive method was applied, which suggests that in order to find the truth, facts should be sought and not be based on mere speculation. The analytical-synthetic method was also proposed, extracting qualities, components, relationships and more to later join the analyzed parts. The use of these methods made it possible to analyze theses, refereed works, bibliographies, among others. It is concluded that mediation is an alternative method of conflict resolution of proven effectiveness both in the real world and through electronic media, therefore, the migration of this method and its application in the metaverse will provide the users of these environments with a tool to solve possible controversies.
