Constitutional rights and timely service of process on the maintenance respondent

The objective is to analyze the constitutional rights and their violation due to lack of timely summons to the defendant for alimony in Quevedo - Ecuador. A descriptive documentary type with non-bibliographic design, and the legal content analysis technique was used, using theories, doctrines and legal regulations in order to investigate the research variables of the problem of the violation due to the lack of timely summons to the defendant for maintenance in the canton of Quevedo. It was found that 59% answered that they were aware of the procedures of the child support trial, 37% said they were not and 4% said they did not know about this type of legal proceedings. Social inequality violates the rights of children and adolescents who, by not receiving timely alimony, are unable to continue with a comprehensive process due to the lack of resources that limit their social welfare.
